I served in the Army.

William "Lil Bill" Gillen was born on June 20, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up with his parents & siblings in New Milford, Connecticut. In his early years he enjoyed spending time at the local lake with his family and friends. Bill was inducted into the Army on April 13, 1966 and served for two years. Bill has worked with cars and in the automotive field during his career.

Linda Farris was born on May 5, 1947 and a lifetime local of Texas and Killeen. She attended Killeen High School.
She was close to her family growing up and spent many memorable times with friends. She worked many years as a telephone operator and at the Killeen Daily Herald.

Bill & Linda were married on March 28, 1969 and had one daughter born on January 27, 1975.
Bill enjoyed working on classic automobiles and attended car shows with his wife and friends.
Linda enjoyed travel, shopping and hosting parties with her family and friends.
They were both known and loved by their family and friends throughout the years.

Lil Bill I will miss seeing you and your sweet gentle smile. You always were a pleasure to talk to....I regret that I never met Ms Linda. I'm sure she was a sweet lady. You always talked about the car shows you went to & when getting Ms Linda's meds you always said no matter what the cost.. "It's ok. She's worth it. She needs it and that's all that matters." You said it with love & I know you meant it.
God Bless your family & those you left behind as you Both go on your new journey to be with the Lord. His loving arms open for you to find rest & comfort. You will be missed.♡♡

    Bill and Linda,
You will be in our hearts and memories forever. More than just neighbors, you were family to me and my sisters growing up. I always loved coming over to visit, playing pinball in the garage, and hanging out with Kim in the clubhouse. Always enjoyed seeing you through the years and Blessed you were both in my life from birth. Rest in Peace in Heaven.
