We were lucky to have met Richard and his family and become friends when all of us lived in Shreveport, Louisiana. I fondly remember getting up at 4 am to be at Richard’s home at 5 am to go bass fishing on Caddo Lake. Besides being a prosthodontist of professional renown (yes his work is marveled at even today), he was a prolific bass fisherman par excellent in the Shreveport area winning many bass tournaments. However, when I fished with him, he patiently spent his time “fishing” my lures out of the cypress tree limbs on Caddo Lake. My wife especially will miss his infectious laugh, outgoing personality, and his unique storytelling. Richard was an extremely devoted husband and father. His family always came first.
He will be missed; we will miss him. We send our most profound sympathies to Jeannie, Monique, and Adrian and all of Richard’s family.
