She was born September 30, 1948 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Martin and Loree Lunt. She graduated from Hastings (Michigan) High School in 1966. She was a Baptist and attended Heritage Country Church in Salado. Taunya married Rudolph "Bud" Wills on May 3, 1974 in Hastings, Michigan. She was a supportive military wife and always had a loving home for her family and friends. She was a member of several military wives clubs and would often prepare home cooked meals for soldiers that were away from their families during the holidays. Taunya was part-owner and operator of Spices Bakery and Deli in Belton from 1995-1998, she then worked at HEB from 2000-2008. Though she enjoyed working outside of the home she was most dedicated to and proud of being a homemaker, wife and mother. She supported her children, Marty and Christie, as team mom and PTA member. She enjoyed shopping, gardening and decorating her home. Taunya loved her family and cherished any time they spent together. She made everyone feel special and as though they were her favorite. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, beloved grandmother and cherished sister and aunt. She has left a legacy of love for her family and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one.
At a sad time as this, the Bible gives us comfort at Revelation 21:3,4 where God promises to eliminate sickness, sorrow and death. What a wonderful time when we no longer have to face these enemies.
I hope this scripture gives you some consolation.
