Augustine and I met when I started working at mr. Gatti's in Temple. I can still remember him sliding across the floor in his loafers. We moved to Austin together. We worked, danced and had many adventures together . I loved Augustine with my whole heart. Sadly, life took us different directions and we lost touch. Gratefully we reconnected via social media. Still that wasn't nearly enough time with my sweet Auggie. So thankful that he is no longer in pain. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Augie, I know we chatted some on social media and shared good memories from high school, but I so wish that I would have met up with you after you moved back to Temple, especially since I know that we had many friends and many things in common. Although I am saddened, I admired your honesty, courage, self-respect, and generous and kind heart and will miss you, my friend. My sincere condolences to your family and friends.

I’m going to miss everything about you. You were such an inspiration to me. I joined band because of you, I went to college because you did. In the end our conversation was about being sick so we had that in common as well. I wish the Lord would have given you more earthly time,
but the truth is he needed you in heaven more. Love you too much!
