Mrs. Johnson passed from this life on February 23, 2019. Linda Darnell Herring Johnson was born November 11, 1947, to James Daniel and Jimmie Elizabeth Hatley Herring in Temple, TX.
Linda loved spending time with her family. She loved playing Yahtzee, having fun, playing the slot machines, going dancing, and having a few glasses of wine. She never met a stranger, loved cooking and baking and made the best fudge, she thought of others more than herself buying gifts for others when she thought they would enjoy it. She loved her dogs, Shelly and Baby Girl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda Kay Pitts; brothers, J.D. Herring, Larry Herring, and James Hamill; and sister, Flora Hamill.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Tawana Jordan; son, Johnny Paul Wright, Jr.; two brothers, Ronnie Herring and Wayne Hamill; and sister, Rita Rogers; five grandchildren, Richard Jordan II, Barbara Meranto, Malinda Jordan, Matthew Wright, and Kenneth Brandon Pitts; five great grandchildren; as well as many other beloved friends and family.
Sending prayers for healing God bless each one of her family and friends. Tawana Jordan, Miss Rita I'm sorry for your lost love you guy's. Prayers
