When several things seemed to be going wrong at the same time, Daddy didn’t get discouraged, he would say, “Well if 10[%] of the time things aren’t going so good, I try to think about the 90[%] that are going good.” This has helped us to put into perspective the sadness and void in our lives that we feel today (10[%]) that will be overshadowed by the many meaningful lessons learned and wonderful memories shared (90[%]).

Dearest Kress and Denise, we have been friends and family for more than 60 years. Losing people we love is never easy, and always comes too soon, no matter how long we are blessed to have them in our lives. We will miss Joe’s sweet smile. He loved his family so much. I treasure the story he told about his promise to make sure Kress always got to visit her family in Colorado when he asked her to marry him. We are here for you as you face the future until we are all reunited with our Lord. We love you. Bev and Larry
