Ella Louise Dowling
June 8, 1927 - January 16, 2010
Ella passed away in her home January 16, 2010. Born Ella Louise Hunt in Phoenix Arizona June 8, 1927. Ella graduated from Scottsdale High School in 1945 and attended Saint Joseph’s Hospital Nursing School as an Army Cadet Nurse in Phoenix Arizona.
Ella was preceded in death by a son Patrick Lloyd Dowling, daughter Deborah Lynn (Dowling) Shedal, and husband Elzie Dowling.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Lee Dowling of Killeen, and Steven Hunt Dowling of Pensacola, Florida. Six grandchildren; Jennifer and Donald of Killeen, Emily (Dowling) Hands of Newton, Alabama, Ella and Elzie of Pensacola, Florida, Raymond of Yuma Arizond, and four great grandchildren; Destiny and Jack of Killeen, Hayley and Gwendalyn of Pensacola, Florida. Memorial services were held in the home for family and friends.
Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
