Gary, Lisa, Heather, Michaellyn and children, our hearts and prayers are with you all. Christopher was always a very polite, and quiet young man, but we could see he loved his family dearly. His children made his eyes light up. He will be missed by so many. May the Lord hold you tight in His arms, and give you the comfort and peace you seek, during these days of grief. We love you all ❤️

To Chris' family and friends: I am deeply saddened to have learned of the passing of Chris Gallup. I served with him in the Army National Guard. I had some great experiences and memories with him and definitely admired his professionalism and commitment to public service through the military and his work with Temple PD. To his parents: I hope you know how respected Gallup was by others in the service. I assure you that for those who got to know him, he was easy to be friends with, a pleasure to work with, and will sincerely be missed.

To the family of Officer Christopher Gallup, I hope that the love and support from your family and friends, including me, gets you through this time.
I am blessed to have met such a gentle soul, such a sweet spirit. I remember teaching Officer Gallup as a cadet and later him coming to my office asking more questions than I even had answers. I will always remember his quite strength and how we talked how my son and he were alike, both served, both cared deeply. I can only think the pain we all feel now is because of the joy he left each of us while being with us in this life. You are in my prayers.
